GirlSpace / Girls With Tools / Girl 2 Girl
YWCA GirlSpace reaches out to girls with quality programming addressing key social issues facing young women. GirlSpace fills the need for girl-only extra-curricular community programs, offering girls the opportunity to increase their awareness about violence and its root causes, while exploring self, personal achievements, building on positive self-esteem and making new friends. All groups meet at the YWCA (604 - 8th Street South). The program is free!

Girl2Girl is a group mentoring session that connects elementary and middle school age girls with high school age girls that demonstrate role model characteristics. Girl2Girl allows girls to make new friends and build strong lasting relationships. With these relationships, they will have a friend to talk to and share life experiences with.
Mentors will help guide mentees through any experiences that may arise during adolescents. Through regular contact between mentor and mentee a relationship is developed that is built on trust, understanding and respect.
All relationships are supported by the staff of the GirlSpace Program!
Girl2Girl (G2G) registration forms can be found at the bottom of this page.
