Have fun with your friends and make a difference in your community with Peer-to-Peer fundraising!

Social Good parties are mini fundraisers organized by YOU!

Peer-to-Peer Fundraising allows community members who want to do something good (YOU) to raise money for a cause they care about (US!).

Whether you’re celebrating an important milestone or just looking for an excuse to get together with friends, a Social Good party allows you to celebrate AND help YWCA Lethbridge fund the 30+ programs and services that make Lethbridge a better place to live. And the best part? All of the money you raise stays right here in our community.

It’s easy as 1-2-3!

Step 1:

Choose a program to benefit from your fundraiser

(or leave it up to us and we’ll assign the money to our area of greatest need)

Step 2:

Pick a date for your Social Good party.

Step 3:

Go to www.CanadaHelps.org. Click Fundraise on the top menu, then set up your account and create a fundraiser.

When you plan a social event—whether it’s a holiday party, backyard barbecue, book club meeting, or a work luncheon with customers or staff—you can ALSO make a difference in our community by collecting donations for the YWCA.

We’re here to get you started with ideas, invitations, party planning tips and ideas. Our Social Good Party Planning Guide has everything you need to turn your function into a fundraiser. We’ve also created a number of fillable PDF planning tools to get you started - check the Resources section at the bottom of this page.
